I wish to share with the community 30 years experience in entrepreneurship; project design and management; strategic management and analysis; human teams leadership; alliances and institutional relations; advanced philanthropy. All those activities in the fields of business design, start-up and growth; local and business development; corporate and social innovation, ICT and R+D; public administration; specially with an international dimension. I now serve professionally at Fundacion Maimona (https://maimona.org/), and do some research at G.I.EMTURIN (http://emturin.com/) in south-east Spain´s Extremadura. I hold a PhD in Economics and BA in Theology (Christian Social Ethics).  I am interested in #development,  #poverty, #inequality and #foreign aid. I currently work as Associate Professor at Universidad San Pablo-CEU, CEU Universities, Madrid, Spain.

I am a filmmaker and communications professional with a decade of visual storytelling experience. I founded Cape Creative in 2014 for my side freelance work, and eventually built it into the full production company it is today. Prior to working at Cape Creative full-time, I worked at national and international agencies: Blue State Digital, The Biscuit Factory, and GMR Marketing. I created visual stories for major brands including Comcast, Microsoft, Lowe’s, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and I helped create content for causes like Freedom to Marry and Shatterproof, an organization working to reverse the addiction crisis in the U.S.   I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marquette University, where I was a three-sport Division I athlete. I also hold a master’s degree in Geography & the Environment from the University of Oxford. My master’s thesis on feminist geographies, which received a distinction, was used by the Obama White House to develop its policy around sexual assault on college campuses. I live in Barcelona with my better half, Katie, who also works in the communications industry.
