I am currently mobilising an initiative to develop a Design for Sustainability and Circularity Framework to strengthen industry’s capabilities for designing products, services, systems, and supply chains to be sustainable, by design. This includes drawing upon the knowledge and principles embedded in the Planetary Boundaries Framework and the Doughnut Economics Model. The initiative will make recommendation to the UK government, policymaker and pilot the design framework with industry.
I am a passionate advocate for sustainable development and believes that we can create a more sustainable future by designing products, services and supply chains that are more efficient and yet protective of the Earth’s critical natural and ecological systems. I am a strong believer in the power of technology to help us solve and address some of the world’s biggest challenges.
