This presents an exciting placement opportunity for a university student to engage in a one-year placement integrated into their academic Degree.
The successful candidates will work on research and development projects exploring solutions for the innovation of sustainable chemicals, sustainable materials, circular materials, circular economy, low carbon fuels, energy storage, formulated sustainable products, additive manufacturing, alternative proteins, cultivated meat, novel food products, medicines, and medical devices.
The successful candidate will be studying towards a Degree in Engineering, Biological, Environmental, Earth Sciences or other science discipline. CPI is looking for someone who has gained knowledge of chemicals, materials, formulation science, and/or biological processes from their university studies and courses.
It would be great if you could demonstrate a passion for addressing environmental sustainability challenges such as climate emergency and biodiversity loss as well as knowledge of the Earth System, Nine Planetary Boundaries, and/or Doughnut Economics - and their incorporation into design thinking and the innovation cycle.
