Lincoln DEAL event
In June 2023, as part of Great Big Green Week, Lincoln held an inclusive event to start an open Doughnut discussion.
Climate Hope Lincoln, working alongside Lincoln Climate Commission, bought together a diverse group of people to 'unroll the doughnut', to learn about the principles, to devolve into our local portrait and hear inspiring stories from local communities.
Kerry Gibson, founder of Rethread Denim and Ali Talbot, CEO of Green Synergy, celebrated what was possible when communities come together with a common goal and how this can mobilise in climate action.
Doughnut DEALs we formed around Access to Nature, Diverse and Inclusive Engagement, Business with Purpose (social enterprise) and more.
