The Doughnut Coalition Hamburg was officially established in April 2021 after an inspiring online event hosted by Gemeinwohlökonomie Hamburg & hamburg.global, in which Kate Raworth presented her economic model which attracted a large audience. Since then, our coalition has developed its structure and is now composed of three working groups (indicators, public relations and storytelling, networking and politics) which meet regularly.
We use the Doughnut as a tool to achieve social-ecological transformation in Hamburg. Our current goals are to grow and strengthen the local doughnut community, increase its visibility and to develop a set of indicators for our city. We are interested in working with individuals and organizations that are also committed to a socially just life for all people within planetary boundaries.
Interested in joining the Doughnut Coalition Hamburg? Every first Tuesday of the month we organize a get-together which you are more than welcome to join and where you can meet old and new members of the group.

I am working on my Bachelor Thesis about Doughnut Economics and the City Portrait Methodology. My goal is to work on a transfer of the City Portrait for the German city of Heidelberg, located in the state of Baden-Württemberg. I am open to networking and exchanging information and experiences with any other people interested in applying the City Portrait to other cities.

I'm one of the leaders of a non-profit association for shamanic art & culture (hofmondsee.com). We bought a remote property in the mountains of central Portugal, where we have the vision of an ecological, sustainable and healthy community. In my first life I was a software developer. Now I change my profession. I enrolled in a university for a bachelor degree in sustainability management. I hope that I will be able to contribute to a positive transformation of the capitalistic, destructive world. I currently read the book "Doughnut Economics" by Kate Raworth and find it a nice wholistic approach. I'm very happy that this platform "DEAL" exists, to gather all the people of the world to collaborate in making the world more sustainable. So I'm happy to meet new people and find projects to collaborate. I'm just starting my journey ;)
