Together with Goliath Watch and E4F the Doughnut Coalition Hamburg invited the people of Hamburg to take a playful look at Doughnut Economics.  In this game, 15 participants worked in three teams (as politicians, economic stakeholders and NGOs) to take on key tasks on the road to a doughnut economy. They had to manage tax revenues, design development plans, set traffic rules and much more. At the same time, social challenges await the team: creating living space, ending homelessness, the US leaving the Paris Agreement. Together they experienced how difficult it is to preserve Hamburg's green spaces and avert the consequences of the climate crisis. But the participants had a lot of fun and concluded: speaking with one another definitely helps in finding solutions.
