I work as a marketing consultant, organisation designer and change facilitator for progressive business leaders who want to gain clarity, navigate change and scale their positive business impact across: strategy, people, culture, data, tech and content. I’m a committee member of the Regenerative Marketing Movement; a collective of volunteer change stewards: marketing and business professionals, copywriters, creatives, psychologists, and regenerative explorers, united by the vision of transforming the marketing discipline into a force for social and ecological regeneration.

After 20+ years in corporate strategy consulting and the tech business, I progressively switched my mindset and practices to supporting organizations in their transformational journey towards eco-social-compatible models. 🍩🌍 I am very inspired by the Doughnut Economics concepts and theory and as an action-oriented person pushing for transformative change, I enjoy guiding organizations through their journey to embrace regenerative and distributive dynamics, thanks to the powerful tools developed by the DEAL. I am an experienced facilitator and trainer of several Fresks (playful, collaborative, and creative workshops that raises awareness on several environmental and social issues) such as The Climate Fresk, The Planetary Boundaries Fresk, The Regenerative Economy Fresk, The Agri-Food Fresk, The Digital Fresk … I am engaged in several local initiatives around regenerative economy in my local area (French Riviera in South of France) to bring these concepts and theory into practice, via experimentation at community level. I am an economist, impact entrepreneur, and consultant with over 20 years of experience working with large organizations in both the public and private sectors. My expertise lies in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), where I have provided consulting and training to help organizations navigate complex challenges and achieve their goals. I see sustainability as the core of risk management, where both threats (negative risks) and opportunities (positive risks) are integral to creating long-term value. As John Adams once said, "Every problem is an opportunity in disguise," and this perspective is central to my approach—transforming challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth and resilience. I named my company Bright Phoenix because the phoenix symbolizes resilience and transformation—qualities I help my clients cultivate as they rise to meet today’s challenges. Learning about the doughnut economic model was a true eureka moment for me. As I delved deeper, I realized I’m not alone—several others in the DEAL community have also expressed similar revelations. The model encapsulates my mission: to guide my clients to operate in the sweet middle of the doughnut—within planetary boundaries while respecting societal needs—ensuring their businesses thrive sustainably. What brings me to the DEAL community is this shared vision. I am excited to contribute my experience as a strategist, systems thinker, and storyteller, while learning from others in this inspiring network.

Erinch is the business and enterprise lead at the Doughnut Economics Action Lab. Recently, he was the chief executive of the World Fair Trade Organization and previously spent 7 years at Oxfam leading campaign initiatives and founded Oxfam’s Future of Business Initiative. Erinch has also worked at Procter & Gamble as a market strategy manager, established a furniture business and worked for Australia's aid programme. Erinch is a board member of the Social Enterprise World Forum and teaches sustainable value chains at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. He holds degrees in finance and law, and an honorary doctorate from Oxford Brookes University.
