Overview
This tool is a series of slides that show each of the 21 dimensions of the Doughnut. For each dimension, there is a short description, the data for the Global Doughnut (soon Doughnut 3.0!), and images of live initiatives/projects happening in practice all over the world.Ā
These initiatives aim to capture the essence of the dimension and how we may move towards the Doughnut for each of them. There is still a lot of movement to be done in this respect, but each example shows a range of actions happening around the world to inspire and encourage people, particularly young people, who are so aware of the social and ecological challenges globally, and many of whom are so involved in leading action.
This tool can be used as a resource to support teaching in or outside education spaces, to present and/or expand ideas about the Doughnut, as well as a practical tool to use in workshop activities. A tool to use in everything that has to do with opening pathways towards distributive and regenerative futures!

| Sustainability Transitions Specialist |Ā Co-Founder of Mexico City's Doughnut Economic Coalition + Scaling Coordinator in CIMMYT-CGIAR After finishing my MSc in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management in Lund University with a thesis to downscale the doughnut for Mexico City's water policies, I learned research was not enough to make a change. For this reason, I have co-founded the Tricolor Coalition (Mexico City's Doughnut Economic Coalition) to collaborate with other agents of change to promote sustainability transitions in Mexico City. We are now developing community, informative, and capacity building activities to support Mexico City's agents of change interested in promoting this transition. I am currently also working as a Scaling Coordinator in the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center. In my job, I continue to learn about systems thinking approaches, and about what types of food innovations could be scaled (why? and where?) to create more impact.Ā Moreover, I also have experience in international and national public administrations, and I have specialized in the water-food-energy sectors and climate change challenges.Ā
