DEAL engages with national governments and international institutions to catalyse their adoption of new economic thinking and practice, through:
Reframing economic narratives - we present the vision, concepts and tools of Doughnut Economics in influential governmental and institutional contexts
Strategic policy influence - we engage strategically in policy debates and processes, and we amplify the work of allies and other changemakers who incorporate the concepts and tools of Doughnut Economics in their own policy-oriented briefings and initiatives.
Collaborating with innovators - we engage in workshops and learning processes with pioneers within governments and international institutions, in order to spur institutional innovation, and open up space for transformative thinking and action.
Governments and international institutions are starting to engage with the core concepts of Doughnut Economics in a range of ways.
Explore policy analysis and tools that can help national and transnational governments design and implement policies for more regenerative and distributive economies.
We welcome representatives of governments and international institutions to get in touch if interested in engaging with the concepts and tools of Doughnut Economics - please connect with us through DEAL's contact form.
We equally welcome DEAL's community members to post Tools and Stories, such as policy analyses and reports, that engage with the concepts and tools of Doughnut Economics. In the spirit of reciprocity, please do share this work back with the community so that it can inform and inspire many others.
Get inspired, connect with others and become part of the movement. No matter how big or small your contribution is, you’re welcome to join!
