I'm an undergraduate student in Japan and major in Economics. I'm interested in not only doughnut economics, but also degrowth concepts, gender studies, feminism, and queer studies. I would like to study doughnut economics academically. Hey! I am a Dutch student living and studying in Sweden. I am currently doing the Master's in Innovation and Global Sustainable Development at Lund University. Soon I will start writing my thesis which will be about managing sustainability transitions and the implementation of the doughnut economy in Amsterdam.  All support is welcome and I would love to talk to people who are also working on this! Multicultural individual - as a French-Brazilian who grew up in Asia - with a background in Art and Psychology and language sciences. I am interested in the drivers of  and how they can be impacted, especially in the context of climate change. As my current profession involves delivering insights to a multinational corporation, I understand the power of and in changing perceptions and making ideas more accessible. I am interested in researching realistic and tangible solutions to the current ecological crisis, taking into account the different stakeholders, current and future technologies as well as cultural, environmental and social factors. I am curious to explore how a approach to the problem - with exchange of insights and collaboration between different fields - can help us create/promote environmentally ambitious policies whilst being socially just. I want to understand what actions to inspire are possible at different levels: as an individual, community, company or nation. Don’t hesitate to contact me! I just finished my master's degree in Freiburg, studying in the M.Sc. programme Geography of Global Change. For my thesis I worked with Doughnut Economics and its practical applicability. I truly appreciate the support and treasure of knowledge of the DEAL community and platform. Now I am working at the Next Economy Lab in Bonn, realizing more Doughnut-related projects.  I am drawn to the doughnut by its tangibility and immediate call for action: "Act now - theorize later!"
