We invite you to join us for a workshop on sustainability in schools and kindergartens, where your experiences and ours can be connected through the holistic Doughnut Model, and together create something greater.
We’ll be gathering at the Deichman Library in Oslo on Thursday, November 7, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The workshop hosts have extensive experience with development work in schools and kindergartens, focusing particularly on social sustainability. We also work with Doughnut Economics as a holistic approach to sustainability in society, and will explore how the "Doughnut Model for Children" can be used by both staff and students to understand connections and make a positive impact on nature, society, and the relationships between people and the environment. A holistic approach means finding pedagogical paths that unite theory and practice, which can significantly enhance motivation, academic learning, and well-being in schools.
During the workshop, we will:
Whether you're a teacher, preschool teacher, engaged parent, or grandparent eager to get involved, we hope to see you there!
