Economics, Finance & Evolution ~ World Assets for Earth & Humanity (Past)
Looking at world assets for a sustainable, thriving, creative economic and financial system for Earth and humanity.
Please Note: This event has now finished and can no longer be joined.
This is a follow-up to the February 6th Doughnut Economics Action Lab meeting on Universal Asset Generation Through Doughnut Economics, another event regarding world assets. Economics is one part of the whole system that also includes assets, investment and finance.
With all the new investor techno razzle dazzle about cryptocurrencies, they are just another investment vehicle. They seem to have no capacity to help Earth & humanity as a whole. They can help the individual investors, especially their creators. Can they also be used for tax-evasion and transfer of money for criminal purposes? It is hard to make sense of the word salad used by financial con artists.

- 8 billionaires have as much net worth as half of humanity.
- 26 billionaires own as much as the poorest 3.8 billion people.
- 2,153 billionaires have more wealth than 60% of humanity, 4.6 billion people.
To continue human evolution on Earth, we need a system of using world wealth to co-create a sustainable, thriving, creative Earth for all.
Join this conversation to explore this creative possibility. Meet others interested in Economics, Finance & Conscious Evolution for Earth.
