Doughnut Economics Research for Action Gathering (Americas) (Past)
Connecting scholar-activists to amplify Doughnut Economics research and to mobilise evidence for transformative action
Please Note: This event has now finished and can no longer be joined.
(This is the second of two gatherings on October 01, 2024 and it will be held at a more convenient time for the Americas region. For the first gathering, which will be held at a more convenient time for the Asia-Pacific region, click here. You are welcome to join whichever gathering you please.)
The DEAL Team welcomes you to join this peer-learning space exploring ways to deepen and amplify Doughnut Economics research, and to push for transformative action in line with research evidence.
The gathering will be hosted by DEAL Team members Andrew Fanning, Research & Data Analysis Lead, and Rob Shorter, Communities & Art Lead.
We will follow a gathering format where everyone will have space to share their experiences, insights and questions on how to strengthen links between research and action.
The spirit of these peer learning spaces is that there's no single expert and we're all here as learners. We will all have something to contribute, whether that be to listen, to reflect, to share your personal experience or to share some ideas.
If you would like to attend, you can register here to receive the zoom link.
Upon registration (via zoom) you will receive an email confirmation. Please use the link in the email to add the event to your calendar. We will contact you with additional details and a Miro board to start sharing examples, insights and questions.
If at any stage you realise you can’t attend, please cancel your registration via the link in your confirmation email.
Thank you for your interest in connecting with scholar-activist peers to explore research for action with Doughnut Economics – we look forward to learning with you!
