I am a designer and researcher experienced in working with civil society, government and communities to expand participation and inclusive practice in design and decision-making affecting our collective futures. I combine my years of experience in systems, UX, service and strategic design to help people think, feel and act in areas of social, economic and environmental complexity in creative, participatory and accessible ways.  Currently working in regenerative food systems with Streat (www.streat.com.au), a social enterprise based in Melbourne, Australia.  Also a 'friend of Donut Berlin' having lived there 2020-2022 and been part of the group.

I live in Bilbao, in the north of Basque Country, and I work in SAIOLAN, in Mondragon. I have experience in collaborating with entrepreneurs in the development of new business activities. During last years I’ve focused my work (with some colleages in SAIOLAN) in connecting « foreign companies with innovative solutions » with « local companies » as a way to create new local business activities and new employment, while improving local economy’s circularity. In this work, we focus our search in innovative solutions that contribute to clean earth, water and air, and the evolution of agrifood industry towards Circular Economy. Easy&Fast to explain in few words, Complex&Slow to implement with success... Apart from SAIOLAN, I’m also involved in Fairphone Community (as Fairphone Angel) and in local cultural associations. I feel inspired by the compass that Doughnout E. could imply to behave smarter for the whole-we-take-part-in.

I have a huge curiosity to learn and I love to share and transmit my learnings.  I am a sustainabilist who turned her long term private concern for sustaining global and local ecosystems and social justice into political climate activism in 2019.  Convinced of the benefits of systems thinking I am enthusiastic about the Doughnut Economy as a role model and communication tool for the social-ecological transformation we need.  I was lucky to meet a couple of likeminded Doughnauts to embark on the exciting journey to start the Donut Berlin Initiative.  Let's did it, Berlin!

No matter where we are in the world we can inquire, evolve, and transform ourselves, taking timely action to make our world a better place. Inquire - Evolve - Transform will be a heart-centered, learning community founded in the UK with global reach, built on valuing all creation and living out inquiring, loving action in the world. It will become a community of transformative inquirers, discovering, and expressing our unique reasons for being in the world; making a difference in our homes, local communities, workplaces, and the world we inhabit; playing our part in addressing the challenges of the multiple crises facing humanity; and co-creating a future where all creation can thrive and flourish.
