This is an open meeting for city residents, organisations, and activists dedicated to improving the quality of life in the city. The meeting will include workshops on Doughnut Economics. We will discuss the needs of ordinary residents and the challenges activists face when working towards a better city. During the workshops, we will introduce the concept of the Doughnut Economy and the Circular City to those who are interested.
We will explain how and why the Doughnut is worth using in repairing cities.
We will also set up "A Wish Box" where participants can put their "wishes" that must be addressed immediately so that we can live better.
Our meeting takes place in Centrum Organizacji Pozarządowych (COP) - Non-Governmental Organizations Center in Katowice, Mikołaj Kopernik Street no. 14; at 15:00-16:30, and 16:30-18:00.
Our meeting is intended for residents, activists, organisations, schools, and anyone who envisions a better city – one that is inclusive and welcoming to people of all genders, ages, and abilities. We aim for a safe and green city that new and old residents will be happy to call home.
Get inspired, connect with others and become part of the movement. No matter how big or small your contribution is, you’re welcome to join!
