DAY THREE | 3-4.30pm | Doughnut Economics x Business (Past)
Join us, and others who run or work in business, to explore how Doughnut Economics can help London become a fairer, gree
Please Note: This event has now finished and can no longer be joined.
This is a workshop for people who run or work in traditional businesses (ie receive all or the majority of their income from trading) in London and who have an interest in how doughnut economics can help London become a fairer, greener, more agreeable place to live, work, grow up and grow old in.
Why: Because it’s a huge, complicated challenge that can feel overwhelming when you try to ‘solve’ it yourself. The more we know what is happening elsewhere in London, the more we can see how our work can fit in and hopefully the easier and more enjoyable the work making London a fairer, greener city becomes. Our intention is to facilitate a discussion that feels generative and distributive, so everyone leaves more energised, with new knowledge, connections and potential collaborations.
How: We’ll share the findings of the latest City Portrait of London developed by the team at the Doughnut Economics Action Lab, and then use a structured process (called appreciative inquiry) to help share knowledge, experience and hopes for the future. An open invitation after the session to join us at a local pub for drinks afterwards too.
Where: Calthorpe Community Garden 258-274 Grays Inn Road London WC1X 8LH

As a Regenerative Business Mentor I love to support transformations in both small business and corporate leadership through the power of nature connection. As a certified Forest Therapy Guide and ICF Certified Business Coach, I help business owners develop as a leader through nature immersion, leading to more conscious and sustainable decision-making. Through private mentoring and experiences such as Nature's Boardroom and The Growth experience, I bridge boardroom thinking with natures wisdoms and new frameworks through which we can strategise and communicate our purpose and impact. My ultimate goal is to support leaders and business owners to make decisions about their business and life that they are proud of and leaves a legacy of lasting positive impact for both organisations and ecosystems.
