- This Month's Book: All We Can Save: Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis. Details on the current reading material below.
- We are discussing essays from Part 1 - Root. They are short and delightful. Feel free to read one or read them all. So far they are all fantastic and worthy. You can even join us if you haven't read any, we'd love to have you.
Some guidelines:
- We will all have different levels of knowledge around each subject, let’s all be mindful and respectful of each other’s questions and opinions.
- We want to spark conversations about books and authors in a fun, fresh way
- Collectively, we should aim to encourage and support each other in reads from a variety of author perspectives.
- For those who’d like to volunteer we take turns in facilitating the club.

Reviews:
- “A powerful read that fills one with, dare I say . . . hope?”—The New York Times
- “A fiery, hopeful manifesto on how to make sense of the staggering loss posed by climate change—and take justice-oriented action in spite of it.”—Mashable
- “Hopeful and illuminating, All We Can Save is an anthology of essays by women at the forefront of the climate crisis. So often climate writing can make us feel doomed and anxious, but this collection is a comfort because of its honesty and courage . . . a reminder that we can work with hope towards a better future.”—BuzzFeed

My professional background is digital marketing strategy, CRM, and data. I've worked across many industries & countries and I cannot morally 'sell more products", "grow market share", or talk about how to influence consumers to use their "disposable income" to purchase more disposable things. These things that end up in the landfills and during production contribute to pollution and social injustice. However, in our digital world, I feel that I have a part to play in the role of social change by helping elevate awareness, inspire action, and contribute to a positive impact. I want to help empower sustainable consumers to buy from sustainable and eco-conscious companies. I am a sponge and learning more & more about sustainability each day through books, articles, documentaries, online courses, and certification programs related to green building, food systems/ agriculture, and natural systems.
