Reimagine Norwich

Our purpose

1. To encourage learning about alternative economics, facilitate local collaboration and encourage place-based action.
2. To promote and nurture existing good practice in Norwich, explore new initiatives and ways to make our action more effective.
3. To activate people and provide a conduit for involvement.
   To offer the Doughnut as a framework of understanding for those already engaged and those wishing to learn about the concept.

Our activities

1. Regular meet-ups to learn about Doughnut Economics and how it can guide, empower and support various groups in Norwich whose works fits with the doughnut concept and framework.
2. We also plan to host open spaces with a view to encouraging further action and collaboration.

Our organisation’s current capacity is group learning and organising. We intend in the long
term to offer place-based transformation through collaborative action, elevating the work
already being done in Norwich, and being a resource of information. In particular we want to explore the role of Art and Culture in facilitating change.

We work with

1. Community groups, social and commercial businesses and NGOs of which we are part.
2. Schools and Universities bringing the Doughnut into their syllabi.
