Jagriti Enterprise Center - Purvanchal, an initiative of Jagriti Sewa Sansthan, inspires and enables people to build India through enterprise. It creates purpose, employment, and ecosystems in Middle India with its core philosophy of ‘Udyamita’ (Entrepreneurship). Jagriti will achieve this by inspiring leaders across Middle India (Tier 2/3 districts) through a robust incubation and innovation ecosystem that will build the nation through enterprise. Jagriti has been at the forefront of empowering individuals and igniting the spirit of entrepreneurship. Jagriti Yatra (JSS’ flagship initiative) is a national entrepreneurial and experiential train journey that has been running for the last 16 years and has inspired 8000
youth (40% females) towards social entrepreneurship. Jagriti Enterprise Centre -
Purvanchal (JEC-P) (the other major initiative of JSS) is an incubation and innovation ecosystem development initiative for entrepreneurs from Tier 2/3 districts with an early focus in Eastern UP. In four years, it has nurtured ~100 MSMEs, with 30%
women-led, benefiting 6000+ livelihoods.
