I am a recent MSc Sustainability and Environmental Studies graduate from The University of Strathclyde Glasgow. I have written my dissertation on doughnut economics and other post-growth models, how they are being used by existing economies and what attitudes students have towards these ideas. I am a freelance environmental campaigner and educator and one of my main goals is to promote better, more sustainable and inclusive initiatives.

Hi! I'm a business and economics student at Lancaster University. Recently started a project with a friend of mine, Ph.D. student in macroeconomics, called Net Gain, where we explain the implications of new tech in the labour force in a newsletter format. I also work as an asset analyst for the university fund, where the assumption of indefinite growth plays a pivotal role in my analyses. It's challenging to consider investments in stocks that aren't expected to sustain perpetual growth. Hence, my aim here is to connect with like-minded individuals and collectively explore actionable solutions.

I'm a musician and have always been interested in the environment. Increasingly concerned at the government's focus on money above wellbeing and environmental health

I feel called to help bring forth a more coherent and harmonious way of living for all. Kate's teachings are energising and inspire me to use my skills to help on a practical level. I also follow Charles Eisenstein's work and am part of the New and Ancient Story (NaAS) community, a place where like-hearted people connect to share ideas on how we can remember our humanity to heal and build a better future together. My professional background is in marketing, and until recently I have been developing behaviour change campaigns for public health and safety. Through that work, I have seen how fear directs our society and I think it's time to change that. I am involved with a handful of community charities and projects, and see potential for change, but also the many roadblocks. I am on the Board of Trustees for Creative Stirling, a creative network for the city of Stirling (Scotland), that asserts change through enterprise, arts and culture working with and for all of Stirling’s diverse communities. Now I am signing up to DEAL to better understand how it works and how to bring positive change to Stirling via the networks that I have. Pleasure to be here.
