Economy in Brazil.
Donut Brasil was created in May 2021 as a whatsapp group, counting already on more than
160 members. We have a diverse profile, with several Brazilian states represented,
embracing academics, students, consultants, NGOs, entrepreneurs and curious people
interested in new ways of thinking and living.
We acknowledge the presence of participants from various movements that share the Donut vision of a prosperous and just society, respecting the limits of the planet.
As volunteers, we organize ourselves into working groups around Strategy, Education, Communication and Projects and Actions, our main focus at the moment, to evolve inspired by the members´ demands, in tune with the enormous and plural socio-
environmental challenges at local and global scales.
What have we done? We created a group on Whatsapp and Discord, promoted regular meetings around related Doughnut themes, conducted the 1st book club, talks in conferences and universities, workshops in territories applying the methodology of the 4 lenses and we will soon launch our profile on Instagram.
What are we looking for? Recognize and integrate the group's intentions and vast knowledge and experience around common interests, creating communities of practice as diverse as academic exchanges, business support, application of impact tools in territories, or free learning.

Working at NOUS Ecossistema merging strategy, communication, art, nature-inspired methodologies, and design. NOUS is one of the companies that have the most potential to change some status quo in design and communication companies in Brazil and helping it to grow and establish itself is a personal and professional goal. It means leveraging biomimicry opportunities in Brazil and for me also.
