Doughnut Economics About DEAL News & Updates Meet the DEAL Team Careers FAQ Wider Movement Contact UsI wrote Doughnut Economics as the book that I wished I could have read when I was an economics student at university. It had far more traction than I could of imagined so I spent two years giving talks about it. Then I thought, OK, enough talk: who actually wants to do this? Because every day I was getting messages from teachers, community makers, city planners, entrepreneurs, civil servants - all of whom were starting to turn the ideas of Doughnut Economics into practice.
I'm a big believer in the power of peer-to-peer inspiration. So often, the most inspiring person is someone like yourself - a fellow teacher, or mayor, or community leader - who is already doing that thing that you thought was impossible. So I cannot wait to see what happens in this community.
Here's to the change-makers who just start doing it. Let's co-create the tools for a regenerative and distributive future. Let's share our stories of what we did and how - because that is what will inspire us all.

That sounds great, Paul, we hope it was a useful part of the conversation.
